There is no such thing as THE melody, and certainly not the „right“ or wrong one. Jewish prayer is based on a system of tone scales and musical motifs, which – similar to jazz – can be creatively used as long as they follow the rules of the Improvisation. KAWANNA is important – the right and honest intention.
